Ragheb Alama is a Lebanese composer, singer, dancer, and television personality born on 7th June 1962. He is known for winning the Platinum Award on a talent show broadcasted on “Studio El Fan” in the 1980s. After the award, he produced several albums and multiple hit singles, including “Aan Jad" (Seriously), “Ya lait" (If Only), and "Alby Asheq'ha". "Alby Asheq'ha" the very first Arabic ballad ever to be adapted into a music video. In the 2000s, he released bestselling albums “Tab Leh” in 2002, “Saharony El Leil” in 2001, “El Hob El Kebeer” in 2004, and “Ba'asha'ak" in 2008.
Due to Ba'asha'ak album record sales at Virgin Megastores, Alama won the Platinum certification, cementing his place as a musical powerhouse. His "Seneen Rayha” (2010) album was released and sold at Starbucks, making him the first Arab musician to sell at Starbucks. He won many awards, including two from "Murex d'Or.”
