Ramin Karimloo is an Iranian-born Canadian actor and singer who was born on 19 September, 1978 in Tehran, Iran. His parents fled Iran in 1978 when he was two months old and later settled in Toronto, Canada, where he was raised.
Ramin rose to fame and is best known as a stage actor when he starred in the London Production of Les Miserables and also in The Phantom of the Opera. He is also famous for playing Phantom in Love Never Dies. His act in the movie earned him the distinction of Best Actor in Broadway.com’s 2010 Awards. Some of his famous movie roles saw him play Enjolras in Les Miserables, Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera and Chris in Miss Saigon. As a singer, Ramin released his debut EP 'Within The Six Square Inch' in 2007.
