Ramon Shelburne (born on July 19, 1979 in Los Angeles, California) is an American sportswriter, NBA Insider and Senior writer for ESPN. Ramon played softball in high school and college. She was good at softball and that landed her an award in high school as the 1997 L.A City Softball Co-Player of the Year.
She started her career in 1997 where she contributed to a write up on Men's Golf Tournament to Stanford Daily. She joined Los Angeles Daily News as a reporter and columnist (2002-2009). She partakes in the NBA network coverage on ESPN. com, ESPN the Magazine, ESPN Radio and Sports Center. She co-hosts the Beadle & Shelburne radio show which was her radio debut in 2016. She is a regular contributor to shows like Around the Horn, Pardon the Interruption, The Jump, Outside the Lines, SportsNation, NBA Tonight and many more.
Ramon Shelburne has received awards from multiple Pro Basketball Writers Association. She has been recognized by Sports Illustrated, Sandford Magazine and Sports Illustrated for Women for her work. In 2016, she was inducted into the Southern California Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.
