Rana Ranbir (born April 9, 1970 in Punjab, India) is an Indian actor, comedian, TV host, and screenwriter, most renowned for his contributions to Punjabi Cinema. He is best known for appearing in Mera Pind: My Home (2008), Jatt and Juliet (2012), Goreyan Nu Daffa Karo (2014), Oh Yaara Ainvayi Ainvayi Lut Gaya (2015), and Ambarsariya (2016).
Ranbir graduated from Desh Bhagat College in Dhuri. While he was studying in college, he wrote a book, ‘Sach Sach te Supna’. Following his graduation, he took a postgraduate degree from Punjab University, Patiala in theater television.
As a comedian and TV host, Ranbir has done a lot of stage performances including Mirza Sahiba, Loha Kutt, and Annay Nishanchi, and radio shows including Kehar Singh Di Maut, Bhagwant Mann Naughty No. 1, and Jugnu Kehnda Hai. He has also acted in several movies such as Do Dooni Panj, Parchavain, Jugaadi Dot Com, Ardaas Karaan, Daaka, and Chitta Lahoo.
