Raoul Bova is an Italian actor who was born on August 14, 1971, in Rome. He studied acting at the school of Beatrice Bracco and later studied with Michael Margotta. He has an extensive acting career. He debuted on TV with a role on the miniseries “Una storia italiano” in 1992 and on the big screen in the movie “Piccolo grande amore” in 1993. He quickly rose to prominence in Italy, but tired of being a "sex symbol," he sought to demonstrate his talent by appearing in more complex films such as “Rewind” in 1998, “I cavalieri che fecero l'impresa” in 2001 and “La frontiera” in 1996. His portrayal of Lorenzo in the movie “The opposite Window” from 2003 changed his career and became a respected actor, serving the movie as his springboard to Hollywood, where he worked on the movies “Under the Tuscan Sun” in 2003 and “Alien vs. Predator” in 2004. He also received several awards at Primavera del Cinema Italiano Festival, Golden Graals, Golden Globes Italy and Flaiano International Prizes.
