Raúl Castillo Bio
Raul Castillo, a television actor, was born in Texas, the United States, on August 30, 1977. He started acting in his early teen years and participated in many plays at his Texas high school. He made his professional theatrical debut in an Austin, Texas production of Santos & Santos after receiving his degree from Boston University. He is well known for playing Richie Donado Ventura in the HBO television series “Looking”. He is also known for his roles in the movies Cold Weather and Amexicano, as well as his appearances with the Ensemble Studio Theatre and Public Theater in New York. He wrote Knives and Other Sharp Objects for the Labyrinth Theater Company, where he also worked as an actor. Moreover, in a 2014 stage production of Death and the Maiden in Chicago, he co-starred with Sandra Oh.
