Rawayana, a unique musical group, was formed in Caracas in 2007 by Tony Casas Jr, Monse and Albert Montenegro. Their performance in the 2010 New Bands festival brought the group to the limelight.
They released their first album titled "License to be free" in 2011, their second album titled "Rawayanaland" in 2013 and their third album titled" the Trippy Caribbean'' in 2016. Their single titled "Something Different" alongside their first album got national and international attention. "Quicksilver beach brand and Peer Music label promoted their first album, and the album featured a showcase as well.
In addition to this, their songs titled "Gatos Oliva and "Algo Distinto earned them the Best Reggae Artist award and the Best Reggae song of the year at the Pepsi Awards. Finally, their song titled "Algo Distinto'' won the best Reggae video and the Best Reggae Album of the year at the Pepsi awards.
