Ray Dalton Bio

Ray Dalton is an American singer-songwriter from Washington, D.C. He is a Grammy nominated artist for his collaboration with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ hit single, ‘Can’t Hold Us’. Dalton’s career propelled Ryan Lewis contacted him to join him and Macklemore to record in their studio. Together they worked on their first collaboration titled ‘Wings’ which was released in 2011. In 2012, Dalton debuted his first solo single, ‘So Emotional’. Working with the duo at the beginning of his career where together, they produced ‘Can’t Hold Us’ for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ album, ‘The Heist’. The single was certified 6 times platinum by the RIAA, number 1 on four Billboard Charts and was Grammy Nominated for Best Music Video. Long after his first solo release, Dalton released ‘If You Fall’ in 2017 which was a huge success. It currently has 27 million plays on Spotify and was produced by Scott Eggman and Rufus Dipper. He has also co-wrote Madcon’s ‘Don’t Worry’ and DJ Arty’s, ‘Stronger’.
