Recondite Bio
Lorenz Brunner, widely known as Recondite, is a DJ and producer born in Lower Bavaria, Germany. He has released projects under Dystopian, Afterlife, Innervisions, Absurd Recordings, Hotflush, and Ghostly International. Before DJing, he worked as a physical therapist. Recondite started his label, Plangent Recordings, in 2011.
He released the EPs, Plangent #001 and Plangent #002 , via his label. In 2012, he released his debut album , On Acid under Acid Test. His song, Levo, was featured in HBO's The Young Pope. Recondite has appeared on Unity Pt. 3, Realm Of Consciousness Pt.V, and Armada Electronic Elements Essentials.
Recondite received the title of Top Live Act in the 2014 annual poll on Resident Advisor. His discography includes Hinterland, Iffy, Placid, Daemmerlicht, Dwell, and Taum. He received a nomination for Essential Mix of the Year for his debut Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1.
