Red is a band formed in Nashville, Tennessee, United States in 2002. The group members are Anthony Armstrong, Jasen Rauch, Michael Barnes, and Randy Armstrong. Pop/rock and religious are their musical specialties, and their style is alternative CCM, alternative metal, Christian rock, contemporary Christian, gospel, and heavy metal. They are known for their positive message and versatile sound, which incorporates elements of nu-metal, post-grunge, alternative rock, hard rock, and Christian metal. In 2006, their debut “End of Silence” was nominated for a Grammy Award. They have also won 6 Dove Awards and 17 nominations.
