Red Fang Bio

Red Fang is the latest thing in stoner rock revival, a metal jam band out of Cascadia with a kitchen rock sound so authentic, they film videos in an actual kitchen. The line-up is Bryan Giles (guitar, vocals), David Sullivan (lead guitar), Aaron Beam (bass guitar, vocals), and John Sherman (drums). After their homemade first album, they took on the unlikely choice of Chris Funk, of the so-progressive-it-hurts band Decemberists, to produce their second album “Murder the Mountains” (2011), which hit #25 on the Billboard Heatseekers’ chart.

Red Fang has gone on to the Metalliance tour with support from bands Crowbar and Helmet, and to the Mayhem Festival accompanying such bands as Megadeth, Godsmack, and Disturbed. They’ve opened for Mastodon, and toured Europe on a headliner with Black Tusk. They’ve also popped into the “Late Show with David Letterman,” bolstering their third and fourth albums to #66 and #143 on the Billboard album charts.
