Ree Drummond is an American blogger, author, television personality, and social media influencer born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on January 6, 1969. She runs the successful food and lifestyle blog The Pioneer Woman that she started in 2006. She started her blog under the name Confessions of a Pioneer Woman, but changed it to The Pioneer Woman. Her blog was named Weblog of the year in 2009, 2010, and 2011 at the Annual Weblog Awards. Drummond also stars in her own television program also named The Pioneer Woman on the Food Network. She has been featured in the magazines Woman’s Daily, People, Southern Living, and Ladies’ Home Journal and has made appearances on the shows Good Morning America, The View, The Bonnie Hunt Show, and the Today Show. In 2009 she published her first cookbook titled The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Recipes from an Accidental Country Girl. In 2011 a series on her blog From Black Heels to Tractor Wheels was compiled into a book of the same name and published by William Morrow. Drummond has also released the books Charlie the Ranch Dog, The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Food from My Frontier, Charlie the Christmas Kitty, Charlie and the New Baby, and others.
