Rhapsody of Fire Bio

Rhapsody of Fire is an Italian rock band that was created, under the name of Thundercross, in 1993 by the guitarist Luca Turillli and the keyboard player Alex Staropoli. The main goal of the band was to combine power metal sound with classical music elements like orchestration and choirs. Their first four albums; “Legendary Tales” in 1997, “Symphony of Enchanted Lands” in 1998, “Dawn of Victory” in 2000, and “Power of the Dragonflame” were all part of the same cycle that followed the same theme dubbed The Emerald Sword Saga. Their second cycle was called The Dark Secret Saga and started with the album “Symphony of Enchanted Lands Vol.2: Dark Secret” in 2004, which followed “Triumph or Agony” in 2006, “The Frozen Tears of Angels” and “The Cold Embrace of Fear: A Dark Romantic Symphony” both in 2010 and concluded with “From Chaos to Eternity” in 2011. After that, Luca Turilli left the band but they continued creating music. “Dark Wings of Steel” was released in 2016 and started The Nephilim’s Empire Saga in 2018 and finished it in 2021 with “I’ll Be Your Hero” and “Glory for Salvation”.
