Australian television producer and writer, Rhonda Bryne was born on 12th March 1951 in Melbourne. She started her career as the executive producer for shows like ‘Oz Encounters: UFO’s in Australia’, ‘Sensing Murder: Easy Street’, ‘Loves Me, Loves Me Not, and ‘The World’s Greatest Commercials’. Following the death of her father, Rhonda slipped into severe depression. During this time, she read the book, ‘The Science of Getting Rich’ by Wallace D Wattles. This inspired her to begin work on her bestselling book, ‘The Secret’. The book is based on the Law of Attraction which she states was used by some of the greatest men in the world including Winston Churchill and Abraham Lincoln. The book was published in 2006 and within a year sold more than 19 million copies and was translated into over 40 languages. The film based on the movie sold over 2 million DVDs. In 2007, she was listed among the Times 100 Most Influential People and also made appearances in shows like ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show. She has published two more books titled, ‘The Power’ and ‘The Magic’.
