Ricardo Antonio Chavira is an American actor best known for his work in film and television. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, United States, on September 1, 1971.
Ricardo began his acting career in 1987 when he appeared in the short films De Vaqueros, aventuras y mas cosas and Así sucede en los pueblos. He has since had recurring roles in the TV series Six Feet Under, Welcome to the Family, Santa Clarita Diet, Jane the Virgin, Scandal, and Selena: The Series, but he is best known for starring in the comedy-drama series Desperate Housewives alongside Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria, and Brenda Strong. Ricardo’s filmography includes Reefa, Don't Let Me Drown, Days of Wrath, Ball Don't Lie, Saving God, and Being Charlie.
