Rick Stein is a chef born on 4th January 1947 in Oxfordshire, England. He is widely known for preparing meals with fresh and sustainable seafood. Some of the famous people Rick has cooked for include Tony Blair, David Cameron, Queen Elizabeth, Margaret Thatcher, Narendra Modi, Jacques Chirac, and others. He made his television debut in 1985 on Keith Loyd’s television show “Floyd on Fish”.
He went on to appear in several award-winning shows like “Taste of the Sea” in 1995, “Rick Stein’s Seafood Odyssey” in 199” “Rick Stein’s Food Heroes” in 2002, and others. Rick has also opened several restaurants including Stein’s Fish & Chips, St Petroc’s Bistro, and Rick Stein’s Café. In 2009, he opened Rick Stein at Bannisters with Sarah Burns, whom he married. In 2013, Rick published his autobiography “Under a Mackerel Sky: A Memoir”.
