Ricky Williams Bio
American football running back, Erick Miron who is better known as Ricky Williams was born on 21st May 1977 in San Diego, California. He played baseball and football for Patrick Henry High School and went on to play college football for Texas Longhorns. Ricky is a two-time, unanimous All-American winner. He was also awarded the Heisman Trophy in 1998. During his senior year, he also broke the NCAA Division 1 A record for all-purpose yards and rushing years. This earned him several awards including the Walter Camp Award, Maxwell Award, and the 1998 AP College Football Player of the Year. In the 1999 NFL Draft, Ricky was drafted fifth overall by the New Orleans Saints. He also played for the Miami Dolphins, Toronto Argonauts, and Baltimore Ravens. In 2002, he earned his first All-Pro honors along with a Pro Bowl selection during his tenure with the Dolphins. In 2015, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
