Rileyy Lanez Bio
Rileyy Lanez, a singer-songwriter who was deeply influenced by the R&B sound of the early 2000s, was born in the Bronx, New York in 2001. She studied dance throughout her education because it was her first love; she didn't discover her talent for singing until she was nine years old. She started posting covers of her favourite songs to social media when she was in her teens. She writes songs about love, heartbreak, and the strength found in relationships. The covers that she posted led to the piano ballad "I'm Leaving," which started to garner millions of views in 2019. After a brief cappella performance, Lanez was immediately signed, and by October, "I'm Leaving" had made its label debut. Moreover, Rileyy Lanez's 2020 debut EP, Beautiful Mistakes, showcased her immense love of '90s neo-soul melodies.
