Rio Roma Bio
Río Roma is a Mexican Latin rock duo from Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico. Their name means “Rome River.” The band is made up of two brothers, José Luis Ortega Castro (born on January 17, 1981), and Raúl Ortega Castro (born on July 17, 1984). Their music styles include Latin rock, Latin pop, and Latin ballad. They were signed to the record label Sony Music.
José Luis started out as a member of a Mexican boy band called Ciao Mama in 1997 before beginning collaborations with Raul. As José y Raúl they released a single album in 2008 titled José y Raúl. They became “Río Roma” in 2011, and they have released 3 albums including Al Fin Te Encontré in 2011, Otra Vida in 2013, and Eres La Persona Correcta En El Momento Equivocado in 2015.
