Rita Simons Bio
Rita Joanne Simons is an English actress, singer, and model who was born in London on March 10, 1977. She is best recognized for her role as Roxy Mitchell in the BBC soap opera EastEnders from 2007 to 2017 when she and her on-screen sister Ronnie Mitchell were killed off (Samantha Womack).
Simons received numerous awards for her work on the show, including the 2008 National Television Award for Most Popular Newcomer. Since then, she has played other fantastic roles in several blockbusters such as Roxy Mitchell in the EastEnders in 2007. She was also part of the 2017–2018 UK tour of Legally Blonde: the Musical, where she acted Bonafonte.
