Ritchie Blackmore Bio
Ritchie Blackmore is a British guitarist who was born on April 14th, 1945, in England. He has received instruction in the arts of the past, and Big Jim Sullivan teaches him how to play the guitar. He is well-known for his style, which fuses elements of rock music and classical music. He was a member of the band Deep Purple, and was responsible for the single “Smoke on the Water.” In 2004, Guitar World published a list of the top 100 metal guitarists of all time, and Ritchie was ranked number 16 on that list. Moreover, “Black Night,” "Speed King," "Highway Star," "Burn," "The Temple of the King," "Stargazer," and "Gates of Babylon" are only some of the popular songs that are released by Blackmore.
