Riz Ahmed Bio
Riz Ahmed in full Rizwan Ahmed was born on December 1st, 1982 in Wembley, London, England. He is known by public as an actor, rapper and an activist. He was able to start his film career in “Guantanamo”. Ahmed kept gradually clearing his way through film industry by playing major roles in “Shifty”, “Sally Potter” where both his roles attained a British Independent Film Award. His appearance in “Rogue One” also earned him a nomination for the Best Male Newcomer at the “Empire Awards”. Ahmed could retain worldwide attention with Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations by playing the role as “Naz” in HBO Hit “The Night Of”. Apart from acting, Ahmed wrote and directed the short film “Daytimer” which earned him another Award. By indicating his anonymous music talent he was able to release two albums, one mix tape and numerous singles. He has built his reputation by letting his name renown in every award season.
