Kim Nam-joon, widely recognized by his stage name RM, is a prominent South Korean rapper, songwriter, and record producer. As a highly influential figure in the global music industry, he holds the esteemed position of leader in the internationally acclaimed South Korean boy band BTS. He was born in Dongjak District, Seoul, South Korea, on September 12, 1994.
RM joined BTS in 2010 as a trainee under Big Hit Entertainment, showcasing his exceptional talent as a rapper and lyricist. His leadership skills, profound artistry, and dedication to music paved the way for his role as the group's leader. With RM's invaluable contributions, BTS rose to global fame and achieved unprecedented success.
