RMR Bio
RMR, pronounced as “rumor”, is an anonymous American rapper and singer born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1996. He achieved fame in February 2020 following the release of his unusual music video “Rascal.” The video racked up more than 700,000 views in a few weeks and gained the attention and praises of specialized and mainstream media outlets alike. In April 2020, rascal signed a deal with Warner Records and worked with Kanye West’s producer Mike Dean. It wasn’t long before RMR released his second single “Dealer,” accompanied shortly afterward by a remix version featuring Lil Baby and Future. In June 2020, RMR had his EP debut with “Drug Dealing is a Lost Art,” featuring collaborations with Westside Gunn, Young Thug, Future, and Lil Baby. In late 2020, the rapper followed up with the EP “4th Qtr Medley,” featuring re-worked versions of 90s hits by Matchbox 20 and other pop-rock outfits.
