Rob Holding, who was born as Robert Samuel Holding, is a British centre-back professional football player who was born on September 20, 1995, in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester, England. He began his career at the Bolton Wanderers youth system and was loaned to Bury in 2015, where he made his professional debut. He then returned to Bolton, where he became part of the first team for a season before signing with Premier League team Arsenal in 2016. He quickly earned his place on the first team, with whom he won several trophies, including 2017 FA Cup, 2017 FA Community Shield, 2020 FA Cup all three against Chelsea and 2020 FA Community Shield against Liverpool. He also played for England under – 21 national team, with whom he won 2016 Toulon Tournament after being called as a replacement.
