Rob Van Dam Bio

Rob Van Dam, born Robert Alexander Szatkowski, is an American professional wrestler who was born on December 18, 1970, in Battle Creek, Michigan. He started training with The Sheik and debuted as a wrestler in 1990 fighting against Dango Nguyen. He fought in several independent promotions and won his first title, the SAPW Tag Team Championship in 1992. In 1996 he signed with Extreme Championship Wrestling where he ended up winning ECW World Television Championship one, ECW World Tag Team Championship twice with Sabu, and ECW Triple Crown champion five times. In 2001 he signed with World Wrestling Federation where he won several titles like WWE Championship, WWF/E Intercontinental Championship six times, and WWE European Championship and was 16th Triple Crown Champion and 8th WWE Grand Slam Champion. He also appeared in tv shows and movies as himself including “City Guys” in 1999, “The Backyard” in 2001, and “Bloodstained Memoirs” in 2009.
