Robbie Amell is a Canadian actor born in Toronto in 1988. He started appearing in commercials at a young age and formally trained at the Canadian Studios Acting Academy. Amell made his film debut in “Cheaper by the Dozen 2” in 2005, and a year later he joined the cast of “Life with Derek” until 2008. He is known for portraying Fred Jones, the male lead figure in two “Scooby-Doo” franchises: “The Mystery Begins”, and “Curse of the Lake Monster”, in 2006 and 2010, respectively. In 2016 he starred opposite Kevin Spacey and Jennifer Garner in “Nine Lives”, and followed up with the Netflix horror film “The Babysitter” a year later. The actor also starred in the 2019 sci-fi film “Code 8”.
