Robert David Keane, also known as Robbie Keane, is an Irish retired professional soccer player and manager best known for his time with Tottenham Hotspur and LA Galaxy. He was born in Tallaght, Dublin, Ireland, on July 8, 1980. Robbie spent his formative years playing for Fettercairn YFC, Crumlin United, and Wolverhampton Wanderers, and he turned professional in 1997 when he signed with Wolverhampton Wanderers’ senior team. Robbie went on to represent Tottenham Hotspur, LA Galaxy, Coventry City, Inter Milan, Leeds United, Liverpool, Celtic, Aston Villa, and West Ham United. Throughout his career, Robbie played alongside Aaron Lennon, Jermain Defoe, Shay Given, John O'Shea, and Dimitar Berbatov. He played over 140 matches for the Irish national men’s team. In 2018, Robbie began his career as a manager.
