Robbie Savage Bio
Robbie Savage is a former professional football player born on 18th October 1974 in Wrexham, Wales. He is currently a football pundit and director of football (DoF) at Premier Division football club Macclesfield. He began his career as a trainee striker at the English football club Manchester United. In 1994, he joined Crewe Alexandra and later joined Leicester City, where he spent five years and made a name for himself as a great player.
In 2002, he joined Birmingham City on a three-year deal. He won the Player of the Year Award the following year. In 2005, he signed with Blackburn Rovers, helping the club fight relegation and reach the FA Cup semi-final. In January 2008, he joined Derby Count on a two-and-a-half-year deal. He made 124 appearances for Derby County, scoring 7 goals. In January 2011, he announced that he would be hanging his boots at the end of the season.
