Robert Aramayo (born November 6, 1992 in Kingston upon Hull, England, United Kingdom) is an English actor most renowned for his role as young Eddard Stark in the sixth season of the HBO series Game of Thrones.
Robert had always loved acting since he was a kid. He made his acting debut at the age of 7 in a primary school production. Following that, Aramayo joined the renowned Hull Truck Youth Theatre alongside his sister at the age of 10 and performed 3 plays. He then attended Wyke Sixth Form College and later won a position in Juilliard School in New York, where he became a part of Juilliard productions and was seen in several plays.
In 2011, he moved to New York City to attend acting school. He made his debut in 2012 with the short film 18 Actors and continued in the theaters for the next 4 years, starring in plays like Obama-ology, Richard III, and Our Town.
In 2016. Aramayo made his returned on-screen with a supporting role in “Nocturnal Animals.” In the same year, he appeared in the Mini TV series, “Harley and the Davidsons,” in the short film, “Can’t Come Closer,” and a play for Juilliard production’s “A Clockwork Orange.” In 2021, Aramayo starred in the Netflix psychological thriller miniseries titled, Behind Her Eyes. He also played Elrond in the 2022 Amazon series, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
