Robert Finley is an American Veteran, former carpenter, and singer-songwriter who was born on February 13th 1954 in Bernice, Louisiana. He was born and raised in Louisiana. He got his first guitar when he was eleven and learned how to play himself. He enlisted in the US Army as a helicopter technician when he was 16 but he was quickly moved to the military band.
Touring with the band across Europe, Robert performed songs by famous artists like Issac Hayes and Marvin Gaye until he was honorably discharged. His big break happened in 2015 when he attended and performed a mini-session at the King Biscuit Blues Festival. His performance was a hit and he got to meet Bruce Watson. Not long after, his debut album Age Don’t Mean a Thing dropped in late 2016 under the Big Legal Mess album. With Auerbach as a co-writer, producer, and guitarist, Robert composed an original soundtrack for Z2 Comic’s graphic novel Murder Ballad. Soon his sophomore album Goin’ Platinum! appeared in 2017, receiving glowing reviews and putting Robert on the touring road. He also performed at the 14th Season of America Got Talent.
