Robert Patrick Webb is a comedian, TV presenter, actor, and writer from England. He is one-half of the Mitchell and Webb duo, along with David Mitchell. He was born on September 29, 1972, in Boston, Lincolnshire, England.
Alongside David Mitchell, Webb appeared in the Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show and the sketch comedy shows That Mitchell and Webb Look, for which they later performed a stage adaptation, The Two Faces of Mitchell and Webb. Magicians, a film, was released in 2007.
He also appeared in the short-lived series Ambassadors, and was the executive producer of the critically acclaimed sitcom The Smoking Room and a regular on the sketch show Bruiser.
Webb is also a regular comedy panelist, appearing on The Bubble, Have I Got News for You, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, QI, Mastermind, Was It Something I Said, and Argumental. In addition, he has hosted and narrated several programs. Blessed, The Bleak Old Shop of Stuff and Fresh Meat are among his other sitcom credits.
