Robin Alexander Schulz better known as Robin Schulz was born in Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany on April 28, 1987. He became popular almost overnight with the release of his remix of Mr. Probz’s “Waves.” The said track topped the charts in six countries in Europe and peaked at No. 3 in six others. His remix of Lilly Wood & the Prick’s “Prayer in C” saw more success and topped the charts in 10 countries. Schulz released another remix, this time his take on Alligatoah’s “Willst Du” (Do You Want To) in 2014. Shortly after, he released his debut album Prayer. This was followed by Sugar in 2015 and by Uncovered in 2017. In 2019, he released the single “Rather Be Alone” and his remix of Maître Gims’ Hola Señorita.
