Rodney Scott Harrison is an American retired professional football player and sports analyst who played as a safety in the NFL. He was born in Markham, Illinois, United States, on December 15, 1972. Rodney spent his formative years playing for Marian Catholic High School and Western Illinois University. He turned professional in Tom 1994 when he was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. Rodney signed with the New England Patriots in 2003, with whom he went on to win two Super Bowls. Throughout his career with the New England Patriots, Rodney played alongside Tom Brady, Corey Dillon, Ty Warren, Vince Wilfork, and Deion Branch. His career highlights include two Super Bowls, two Pro Bowls, All-Pro, and induction into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame.
