Rodney Hudson is an American professional football player born in Mobile, Alabama on July 12, 1989. He is currently a center for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League. He played football at B.C. Rain High School in Mobile, Alabama. As a junior and senior he won All-State first team honors. He went on to play college football at Florida State University for the Florida State Seminoles football team from 2007 to 2010. In 2011 he was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the second round, 55th overall, in the 2011 NFL Draft. He was signed to a four-year contract for $3.50 million with a signing bonus of $104,892. He made his NFL debut in the Chiefs’ season opener against the Buffalo Bills. After the 2014 season he became a free agent and in 2015 he was signed to a five-year contract with the Oakland Raiders for $44.5 million with $20 million guaranteed. Hudson has played in 112 NFL games and started in 96.
