Roosevelt Bio
Roosevelt is the stage name of Marius Lauber, a German musician, singer, DJ, remixer and composer. He was born on the 29th of September, 1990 in Viersen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. He began his musical career as a member of the band Beat!Beat!Beat! while studying in high school. He released his debut solo EP “Elliot” in 2013, and its lead single was named Best New Track by Pitchfork magazine. In 2016, he released his debut self-titled album through Greco-Roman/City Slang. He has remixed for the likes of Sundara Karma, Animals, Jax Jones and Kakkmaddafakka. In 2018, he released his second album “Young Romance” which included the track “Under The Sun”. In 2020, he released the single “Sign” a ballad mixed with cinematic vibes.
