Rory Michael Kinnear is an English actor and playwright best known for his work in film, television, and theatre. He was born in Hammersmith, London, England, on February 17, 1978.
Rory became famous for his stellar performances in theatrical productions of Mary Stuart by Phyllida Lloyd and Hamlet by Trevor Nunn, and he began his screen acting career in 2001 when he appeared in the TV series Judge John Deed. He has since had recurring roles in the TV series Our Flag Means Death, Ridley Road, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, Quacks, Count Arthur Strong, Penny Dreadful, and Vexed. Rory’s filmography includes Spectre, No Time to Die, The Imitation Game, Men, Wild Target, and Peterloo, but he is best known for starring in the 007 film Skyfall alongside Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, and Judi Dench.
