Rosamund Pike, born Rosamund Mary Ellen Pike on the 27th of January 1979 in London, is an English actress whose career began on the stage in 1998 with productions such as Romeo and Juliet and Skylight. She then held television roles in shows such as Wives and Daughters and found international recognition as Miranda Frost in the James Bond film, Die Another Day, which featured Pierce Brosnan as James Bond.
With more recent appearances in Johnny English Reborn, Jack Reacher and The World’s End, her role in the thriller Gone Girl alongside actors such as Ben Affleck and Neil Patrick Harris gained her international acclaim. Her role as Amy Dunne led to her first Academy Award nomination. A Golden Globe Nomination and a SAG Award nomination.
