Frances Rose McIver is an actress born on October 10, 1988, in Auckland, New Zealand. She has a degree in linguistics and psychology from the University of Auckland. As a child actor, she appeared in The Piano (1993), Hercules and the Amazon Women (1994), Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995 - 1999), and Xena: Warrior Princess (1995 - 2001).
Her first lead roles were in Maddigan's Quest (2006) and Rude Awakenings (2007). Her role as Summer Landsdown (the Yellow Ranger) in Power Rangers RPM (2009) brought her more attention. Rose has starred opposite Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz, Lizzy Caplan, and Michael Sheen.
She is best known as Liv Moore in The CW's iZombie. In addition, she starred as Amber in Netflix's A Christmas Prince and its sequels. Her acting credits include Next Exit, Ghosts, Antisocial Distance, The Princess Switch: Switched Again, Dragons: Race to the Edge, and Once Upon a Time. Rose has appeared on Maltin on Movies, CBS Mornings, The Late Late Show with James Corden, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and Jimmy Kimmel Live!
