Roseau Bio
Artist Roseau, born Kerry Leatham in Colchester, England to a Dominican father and an Irish mother, learned music as a toddler when her grandfather invented and sang to her and her sisters as toddlers. She began writing songs and at the age of 16 used as Zoom MRS-802 digital Multitrack for experimentation. She also took up guitar playing and began playing local gigs. She got the attention of Kwame Kwaten her manager. She released her first music on Tape Club Records. Roseau has appeared on albums of Lapalux and DELS and a collaborative project with Peter and Kelly. She has toured with Lianne La Havas, Lucy Rose and Laura Mvula. Her music has been featured on Grey’s Anatomy and Adulthood. She performed a live stripped session of her tracks ‘Salt’ and “Alright’ with Red Bull Music Academy in 2015.
