Rosie Carney is a British singer-songwriter who was born in 1997 in Hampshire, United Kingdom. When she was nine years old, her family emigrated to Donegal, Ulster, Ireland.
Rosie’s rise to prominence started as she was a member of A&R staff Universal Polydor Records. She has worked with some of the label’s notable songwriters like Brendan Benson, Angelo Petraglia and members of Turin Brakes. She released her debut album Bare in 2019 which was followed the next year by her sophomore The Bends. Rosie is also well known on the Belfast music scene and she has played at Other Voices in Derry/Londonderry. Her music has aired on BBC Radio Ulster and in Irish local stations Highland Radio, Donegal. Rosie dropped the EP I Dreamed I Was the Night in 2020. She appeared on The Paper Kites’s 2021 album Roses.
