Roy Blair is a California-based singer and songwriter who began his career as a Brockhampton affiliate, singing backup with the boy band's Kevin Abstract and later featuring on his sophomore album. Blair's first novel, Cat Heaven, was released in 2017.
After winning a laptop with Garageband at an after-school program, the Los Angeles-based singer wrote his first song in fifth grade. By the 2010s, he was backing up Kevin Abstract on his tour in support of American Boyfriend: A Suburban Love Story.
Blair also sang on a few tracks on that album, including "Echo" and "Runner." In 2015, he released his first solo single, "HELP," then in 2016, he released "Thunder," "Perfume," and "Jane." In the years that followed, he released several other blockbusters, winning several wards in the process.
