Ruben Markussen Bio
Ruben Markussen, mostly known as Ruben, is a Norwegian singer, songwriter, and producer who was born on March 23, 1995, in Harstad. His genre is mostly pop with EDM elements. He began his career as a musician in 2017 when he released his debut single “Walls”. This single went viral and ranked top 10 in the singles chart in Norway. Due to the success of the song, he moved to Oslo where he quickly signed with Universal Norway. His second single called “The Half” was released in 2018 and achieved top 20 in the singles chart. His third single “Lay by Me” came out in 2019 and was equally successful. All three singles were included in his debut EP called Melancholic, which was released in 2019. In 2021 he released his second EP, Animosity, which ranked top 6 in the Norway chart.
