Rufus Sewell is an actor born on 29th October 1967 in London, England. He is best known for appearing in the 2006 romantic mystery film “The Illusionist” as Crown Prince Leopold. Sewell started his career in 1991, playing the role of Bobby in the drama film “Twenty-One”. In 2001, he appeared alongside Heath Ledger, Mark Addy, and Paul Bettany in the mediaeval action comedy film “A Knight’s Tale”. In 2015, he voiced Sir Claude in the animated comedy adventure film “Blinky Bill the Movie”.
Sewell made his television debut in 1992, playing Billy in 6 episodes of the series “Gone to Seed”. From 2008 to 2009, he appeared as Dr. Jacob Hood in the drama television series “Eleventh Hour”. He also starred alongside Jenna Coleman, Daniela Holtz, and Eve Myles in the historical television drama series “Victoria”.
