Russell Tovey is an English actor. He was born Russel George Tovey on the 14th of November, 1981 in Essex, England. He began his career as a child, when he was cast in the CBBC series “Mud” in 1994. In 2004, he performed on the play “The History Boys” at the Royal National Theatre, while touring to Broadway, Sydney, Hong Kong, among other places. Since then, Tovey has kept himself busy, playing in more than 15 theatre plays like “A View From The Bridge” in 2015 at the Lyceum Theatre, in New York and “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” in 2020, in Broadway, New York. He has also acted on more than 10 movies, such as “Pride” in 2014, “The Pass” in 2016 and “The Good Liar” in 2019. He is also known for have provided the voice for The Ray on the DC’s Universe Production’s four series. In 2019, Tovey appeared alongside Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen in crime thriller “The Good Liar”.
