Ruth Connell is a Scottish actress who was born on April 20, 1979, in Falkirk. She debuted in the film field in 1998, when she appeared in a short film titled “The Soldier’s Leap”. In 2010, she starred in a comedy TV movie titled “Above Their Station”, directed by Tony Dow, and right after filming that movie, she began working in LA, appearing in indie movies such as “Folklore”, which was released in 2012. In that same year, she appeared in the film titled “A Perfect Ending”. In 2013, she appeared at a drama movie, titled “Meth Head”. Connell lent her voice for two video games, “Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes” and “Disney Infinity 3.0”, in which she voiced Merida. She also voiced the same character in Disney’s animation TV series “Sofia the First”. One of her most popular roles is Rowena MacLeod in CW’s TV series “Supernatural”, starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, in which she appeared for a total of 33 episodes from 2014 until 2019.
