Rutina Wesley Bio
Rutina Wesley is an American actress and producer best known for her work in film, television, and theatre. She was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, on December 21, 1978. After performing in numerous theatre productions, Rutina began her screen acting career in 2007 when she was cast in the film How She Move. She has since had recurring roles in the TV series Hannibal and Queen Sugar, but she is best known for starring in the drama-fantasy series True Blood alongside Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Sam Trammell, and Ryan Kwanten. Rutina’s filmography includes The Perfect Guy, 13 Sins, and Last Weekend. She has won three Black Reel Awards for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series.
