Ryan Hemsworth Bio
Ryan Hemsworth (born April 23, 1990) is a DJ and record producer from Canada. He is an expert in electronic music and sampling. He's worked with Tinashe, Tory Lanez, Mitski, and E-40 on songs.
Hemsworth was raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and attended the University of King's College, where he studied journalism.
Hemsworth released Distorted, a joint album with Shady Blaze, in 2011. Guilt Trips, his 2013 album, was released by Last Gang Records. It received the Juno Award for Electronic Album of the Year in 2014.
In 2014, he released the album Alone for the First Time, which was ranked third on CMJ's list of the "30 Best Albums of 2014." In 2015, he self-released Taking Flight, a joint EP with Lucas.
