Ryan Lochte (popularly known by his nickname Jeezy) is an American professional swimmer who was born on August 3rd, 1984 in Rochester, New York, United States. He was raised in Daytona Beach, Florida and he lives in Gainesville, Florida. He is the second-most decorated swimmer in Olympic history, behind only Michael Phelps, in terms of the total number of medals, along with Natalie Coughlin, Dara Torres, and Jenny Thompson. Lochte's seven Olympic medals are tied for second in men's swimming history again, behind Michael Phelps and tied for second among all Olympic swimmers. In the 200-meter individual medley, he presently holds the world record long and short course. He also holds the world records in the 4200-meter freestyle long course and 4100-meter freestyle mixed relays as part of the American teams.
