Ryan Long Bio

Ryan Long is a comedian from Ajax, Ontario, Canada, currently living and working in New York City. He is best known for Crown the Town (2011), Ryan Long Is Challenged (2014), and True Dating Stories (2015). He is also part of the podcast "The Boyscast".
His videos are critical of politically correct culture, the far right, and third wave feminism. He is also critical of political bias, performative activism and narrow-mindedness, and believes internet activism is ridiculous.
Before he became popular, Ryan was part of a band. He would upload music videos of the Johnstones, as well as music videos he had participated in himself. On March 4, 2006, Ryan created his YouTube account.
On May 25 2017, he uploaded his first comedy skit, which was positively received, and then went on being a stand-up comedian. He gained even more popularity when Shoe0nhead shared his video "When Wokes and Racists Actually Agree on Everything" in a tweet. His comedy style has been likened to that of Sacha Baron Cohen. He also applies subjects like therapy on themes of social justice.
